AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF
MELROSE STREET, FROM MARGARET STREET
EASTERLY 302 . 23 FEET TO RANDOL AVENUE, IN
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade of Melrose Street, from the centerline of Margaret
Street, Easterly 302. 23 feet along the proposed centerline of
Melrose Street to the centerline of pavement of Randol Avenue, in
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , and is in reference to Mean
Sea Level .
SECTION 2 . Begin at the point of intersection of the
centerline of Margaret with the proposed centerline of Melrose ,
which point, for the purpose of further description shall be known
as Station 0-81 .83 with an elevation of 422. 36 ; thence along said
centerline with a descending grade of 4 .19$ to elevation 418 .93 at
Station 0 + 00; thence with a 40 foot vertical curve to elevation
419 .97 at Station 0 + 40; thence with a descending grade of .58$
to elevation 416 .93 at Station 2 + 20 .40, which is the centerline
of right-of-way of Randol Avenue, and there terminating.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
