AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RECORD PLAT OF
ASHLAND HILLS ESTATES THIRD SUBDIVISION,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The record plat of Ashland Hills Estates Third
Subdivision, being a part of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 31 North , Range 13 East
of tt�e Fifth Principal Meridian , in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau , State of Missouri , submitted by Ashland Land
Development Corporation , and bearing the certification of R. M.
Harrison , a Registered Land Surveyor , dated June 10 , 1987, is
hereby approved .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to sign the plat
with the date of Council approval and affix thereto the seal of
the City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri .
SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that an emergency
exists according to Section 3. 15 of the Charter of Cape Girardeau
in that this measure concerns the immediate preservation of the
public peace, property, health , safety or morals because failure
to adopt the ordinance immediately will result in great financial
loss to the community and will deter further economic devlopment
in the community. Therefore , this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval .
