AN ORDINAPdCE ENACTING SECTION 20-10 OF THE
REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , PERTAINING TO FFES
FOR USE OF CERTAIN PARK FACILITIFS
BE IT ORDAIrIED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDFACI,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . A new Section of the revised Code of Ordinances
for the City of Cape Girardeau , P9issouri , is hereby enacte� to be
known as Section 20-10 and entitled Park Facilities Fees ; said
ordinance to read as follows :

FACILITIES
BAND SHELL
Not-for-profit or
civic organizations Refund�ble cleaning deposit � 50 . 00
Commercial use Refundable cleaning deposit $ 50 . 00
Fee for usage per day $ 25 . �0
SHELTER HOUSE
Fee for usage per day $ 10 . 00
PARK AREA RESERVATIONS
Not-for-profit or
civic organizations
and private parties Refundable cleaning deposit $ 50 . 00
TOURNAMENT USE OF SOFTBALL FIELDS
Local civic or not-for-
profit organizations Refundable cleaning deposit $ 50 . 00
Non-local civic and not-
for-profit organizations Refundable cleaning deposit $ 50 . 00
Charge for usage, per day,
per field $ 20 .00
Al1 users Charge for extra field
preparation $ 10 .00

SECTION 2 . If any section, subsection , sentence, clause ,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate , distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof .
SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall not become effective unless a
majority of the qualified voters of the City voting in the June 2 ,
1987 special election approves the levy of the fees set forth in
this ordinance . If a majority of such voters approve the levy,
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
July l , 1987 .
