REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEA[J, MISSOURI , PERTAININC TO FEES
FOR CERTAIP� ARENA BUILDING USES AND GRAND
STAND EVENTS
BF IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDFAU ,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . A new Section of the revised Code of Ordinances
for the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby enacted to be
knooan as Section 20-9 and entitled Arena Building Fees and Grand
Stand Fees ; said ordinance to read as follows :
Sec . 20-9 . Arena Building Fees and Grand Stand Fees .
ARENA BUILDING
Local not-for-profit
groups & organizations Refundable cleaning deposit $250 . 00
Fee for usage per day $150 . 00
Non-local not-for-profit Refundable cleaning deposit $500 . 00
groups and civic Fee for usage, per day $300 . 00
organizations and all plus $50 . 00 per hour for
commercial users any usage after midnight
Use of kitchen facility by $ 50 . 00
all parties , per day
GRANDSTAND EVENTS
Local civic or not-for-
profit organizations Refundable cleaning deposit $250 . 00
Local civic or not-for-
profit organizations Per night for each electrical $ 10 . 00

Non-local civic or not-
for-profit organizations
or commercial use Refundable cleaning deposit $500 . 00
Fee for usage per day $500 . 00 �
Al1 users Fee for cleaning of premises ,

SECTION 2 . If any section , subsection , sentence , clause ,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof .
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall not become effective unless a
majority of the qualified voters of the City voting in the June 2 ,
1987 special election approves the levy of the fees set forth in
this ordinance . If a majority of such voters approve the levy,
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
July l , 1987 .
