AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 20-38 OF THE
REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU ENTITLED GOLF COURSE FEES AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 20-38
ENTITLED GOLF COURSE FEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Section 20-38 of the revised Code of Ordinances of
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , entitled Golf Course Fees is
hereby repealed .
SECTION 2. A new Section 20-38 of the revised Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , entitled Golf
Course Fees is hereby enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 20-38 Golf Course Fees
The following fees are hereby established for use of the
golf course facilities :
Daily green fee--Weekday � 6. 00
Daily green fee--Weekends and 8. 00
Holidays
Advanced green fee card:
Individual 250. 00
Family 350. OQ
Senior individual 150. 00
Senior family 250. 00
Golf cart rental--9 hole 8. 00
Golf cart tental--18 hole 14. 00
Pull cart rental--Per day 3. 00
Private cart use--9 hole 3. 00
Private cart use--Per day 5. 00
SECTION 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall not become effective unless a
majority of the qualified voters of the City voting in the June 2,
1987 special election approves the levy of the fees set forth in
this ordinance. If a majority of such voters approve the levy,
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
July 1 , 1987.
