AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF SEWER
DISTRICT N0. 14-C-2, A SUBDIVISION OF TRUNK SEWER
DISTRICT N0. 14'-1-A & 14-1-B, APPROVING THE PLANS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14-C-2, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY LATERAL
SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14-C-2 UNDER A
PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS,
IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the boundaries of Sewer District No. 14-C-2,
a subdivision of Trunk Sewer District No. 14-1-A & 14-1-B in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, shall be as follows :
A tract of land in the North One-Half of Section 35 ,
Township 31 North, Range 13 East , in the City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri , more particularly
described as follows :
Begin at the Southeast corner of Mt . Auburn Subdivision in
the City of Cape Girardeau, said point being on the West
right-of-way of Mt . Auburn Road; thence with said
right-of-way South 02° 40 ' 03" East , 525 . 95 feet ; thence
continuing with a curve to the right having a radius of
1130 . 87 feet , a distance of 178 . 0 feet ; thence continuing
South 06° 21 ' 03" West , 142 . 04 feet to a point ; thence
leaving said right-of-way, North 89° 00 ' 00" West , 494 . 9
feet to a point ; thence North 00° 20 ' 12" East , 786 . 32
feet ; thence North 00° 23 ' 00" East , 57 . 78 feet to a point_�
on the South line of Mt . Auburn 3rd Subdivision in the city
of Cape Girardeau; thence with said South line South 89 °
00 ' 00" East , 486 . 45 feet to the point of beginning and
there terminating.
SECTION 2 . That the plans for the construction of a system of
sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No. 14-C-2, a copy
of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk , are hereby
approved and ordered filed.
SECTION 3 . That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
No. 14-C-2 are hereby granted permission to construct said system
of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No. 14-C-2 and to
connect same to existing sewers in Trunk Sewer District No. 14-1-A
& 14-1-B, subject to the following provisions.

1 . That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
2 . That all permanent easements for said sewers on private
property are made to the City of Cape Girardeau ,
Missouri , prior` to execution of a contract for the work
of construction of said sewers.
3 . That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of the
City and State laws applicable to this project will be
observed in all respects .
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be inspected
by the agents of the City engineer of the said City, and
that cost of said inspections be paid to said City
following the completion of the work and its acceptance
by said City and the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval .
