AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL
TAX BILLS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 9-A OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU
4dHEREAS, the Building Supervisor of the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , issued an Order Causing Certain Dangerous
Buildings to be Demolished ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau did cause said buildings
to be demolished in accordance with the Order thereby incurring
certain expenses; and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector authorized the issuance of
certain tax bills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and ordered to
place on file Special Tax Bills issued in accordance with the
Order of the Building Supervisor which shall be a lien against the
following described property in accordance with law, until paid or
collected by the City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri:
$300 . 00 -- 215 South Hanover Street, South part of Lot l ,
Block 19 , West End Place .
$700 . 00 -- 318 Rear Good Hope Street, South 1/2 of North
1/2, 28 feet by 180 feet of Lot 31 , Range H.
$850 . 00 -- 223 South Fountain � Street , South 36 feet of Lot
34 and North 28 feet of Lot 35 , Range G.
�425 .00 -- 418 Second Street and 418 Rear Second Street,
Lot 18 , Block 4, Leadville Village .
�625 .00 -- 417 Locust Street, Lot 17 , Block 4 , Leadville
Village .
�350 . 00 -- Alley off Locust Street , Lot 19 , Block 4 ,
Leadville Village .
�590 . 00 -- Third ( Locust ) Street, Lot 3 , Block 1 , Leadville
Village .
940 . 00 -- 1121 North Frederick Street, Lot 5 , Block 4 and
part of vacated alley, Marble City Heights .

ARTICLE 2 . Said Tax Bills shall bear an interest rate of eight
per cent ( 8$ ) per year annum.
ARTICLE 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
