AN ORDINANCE NAMING WASHINGTON PARK, IN THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
ARTICLE l . WASHINGTON PARK .
Al1 that part of Out Lot Three ( 3 ) to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, particularly described as follows : Begin at
the Southeast corner of the intersection of Washington Avenue and
Middle Street and run East along the South side of Washington
Avenue 310 feet ; thence South 137-1/2 feet ; thence East 50 feet to
Fountain Street ; thence South along the West line of Fountain
Street 345 feet ; thence West 190 feet ; thence North 50 feet ;
thence West 180 feet to Middle Street ; thence North along the East
line of Middle Street 328-1/2 feet to the point of beginning, in
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby named WASHINGTON
PARK .
ARTICLE 2 . If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof .
ARTICLE 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
