AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates from revenues in excess of those
estimated in the Budget for expenditure during the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1995, for the operation of the Department of Public
Safety, in the following amount:
Department of Public Safety - Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred
Seven Dollars and Sixty Cents ($19, 207 . 60) for the Community
Oriented Policing Services Program.
ARTICLE 2 . Pursuant to Section 3 . 15 of the Charter of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, this measure is adopted as an
emergency measure as it constitutes a Bill concerning the immediate
preservation of public peace, property, health, safety or morals.
Accordingly, this ordinance will take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval.
