AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
LATERAL SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-R-2 , A
SUBDIVISION OF LATERAL SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-
R, APPROVING THE PLANS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY LATERAL
SEWERS IN LATERAL SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-R-2,
UNDER A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
PROVISIONS, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. That the boundaries of Lateral Sewer District No.
14-R-2 , a subdivision of Lateral Sewer District No. 14-R in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, shall be as follows:
A part of U. S.P. S. No. 2198, Township 31 North, Range 13
East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a 1/2" iron pin at the Northeast corner of
Northwood Hills Second Subdivision, as recorded in the
land records of the County Recorders Office in Plat Book
No. 11 at Page No. 6, said point being on the South line
of Chateau Oaks Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book No.
7 at Page No. 31; thence along said South line, North 89°
28' 16" East, 501.71 feet; thence South 00° 48' 17" East,
679. 56 feet; thence South 88° 46' S9" East, 85. 05 feet;
thence South 00° 48' 17" East, 123 . 85 feet; thence South
89° 20' 11" West, 274 . 67 feet; thence North 54° 45' 28"
West, 387 . 86 feet to a point on the East line of
Northwood Hills Second Subdivision; thence along said
East line, North 00° 39 ' 01" West, 579 . 92 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 8 .74 acres, more or less.
ARTICLE 2 . That the plans for the construction of a system of
sanitary lateral sewers to serve Lateral Sewer District No. 14-R-2 ,
a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, are
hereby approved and ordered filed.
ARTICLE 3 . That the owners of lands in said Lateral Sewer
District No. 14-R-2 are hereby granted permission to construct said
system of sanitary lateral sewers in Lateral Sewer District No.
14-R-2 and to connect same to existing sewers in Lateral Sewer
District No. 14-R, subject to the following provisions.

1. That proper authority will be secured to proceed from the
Missouri Clean Water Commission.
2 . That all permanent easements for said sewers on private
property are made to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, prior to execution of a contract for the work
of construction of said sewers.
3 . That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of the
City and State laws applicable to this project will be
observed in all respects.
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be inspected
by the agents of the City engineer of the said City, and
that cost of said inspections be paid to said City
following the completion of the work.
ARTICLE 4 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval.
