AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM
STEPIiEN E. STROM AND PATRICIA F. STROM FOR AN
EASEMENT IN NORTHFIELD FOURTEENTH SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed, executed by Stephen E. Strom and
Patricia F. Strom, husband and wife, conveying to the City a Quit
Claim Deed for an easement in Northfield Fourteenth Subdivision,
more particularly described as follows:
An easement over the following described portion of Lot 245A of Northfield Fourteenth Subdivision as supplemented to
prohibit the construction of any house, garage, or any other type of building within the boundaries of such portion
without the written consent of the City of Cape Girardeau:
A part of Section 24 in United States Private Survey No.2198,Township 31 North,Range 13 East of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a T-post at the Southeast corner of a tract of land as recorded in the land records of the County
Recorder's office in Book No. 267 at Page No.474,said point being on the East line of U.S.P.S. No. 2198,from which
point the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19,Township 31 North,Range 14 East bears South 00�
48' 17"East, 56.62 feet;thence along the South line of the aforesaid tract of land,South 89�28' 16"West, 96.93 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence continuing along said South line, South 890 28' 16" West, 60.02 feet to the
beginning of a non-tangent curve concave to the Northeast,having a central angle of 28�O6'08"and a radius of 815.00
feet, from which point a radial li�e bears North 88� 10' 21" East; thence leaving the aforesaid South line and long said
curve in a Southeasterly direction, 399.74 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way of Yorktown Drive, said point
being the point of cusp with a curve concave to the Southeast, having a central angle of 1000 47'04" and a radius of
52.00 feet, from which point a radial line bears North 60�04' 13" East;thence along said curve and right-of-way line
in a Northwesterly and Northeasterly direction, 91.47 feet to the beginning of a non-tangent curve concave to the
Northeast,having a central angle of 24�07' 10" and a radius of 755.00 feet,from which point a radial line bears North
63� 56'59" East;thence leaving said right-of-way and along said curve in a Northwesterly direction 317.83 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 0.47 acres more or less.
ARTICLE 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
