I ��L' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF WARD 4 TO INCLUDE PROPERTIES OF WAYNE KOEHLER, LOIS KOEHLER, CHRIS KOEHLER, STEPHANIE KOEHLER AND STEPHAN KOEHLER BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: ARTICLE 1. Ordinance No. 1355, Part 2, is hereby amended by repealing the legal description of the boundaries of "Ward 4" in its entirety and enacting a new legal description of the boundaries of "Ward 4" , in words and figures, to read as follows, to-wit: WARD 4 Beginning at a point where the centerline of Dunklin Street intersects the centerline of Henderson Avenue; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of Henderson Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Bertling Street; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Bertling Street to its intersection with the centerline of Sprigg Street Road; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of Sprigg Street Road to its intersection with the Northern city limits of the City of Cape Girardeau effective June 7, 1993 ; thence North along the West right-of-way line of Sprigg Street Road to the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 31 North, Range 14 East; thence West to the East right-of-way line of Cape Rock Drive to include the area annexed by the City effective July 29, 1994; thence along and with the Northern city limits of Cape Girardeau effective June 7, 1993 , by metes, bounds and other description to a point on the East line of the West half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 31 North, Range 14 East; thence North along said East line to the North line of said half of a quarter/quarter and West with said North line to include the area being concurrently annexed; thence along and with the Northern City limits of Cape Girardeau effective June 7, 1993, by metes, bounds and other description to the Northwest intersection point of Boutin Drive and Cape LaCroix Road; thence Southeasterly with the West right-of-way line of Cape LaCroix Road 400 feet, more or less, to the North line of the Constance W. Harris Trust property; thence West with said North line to the West line of said property, South with said West line and East with the South line of said property to the West right-of-way line of Cape LaCroix Road; thence Southeasterly to the Northeast corner of Lot 4 of the Route "W" Commercial Center; thence Southwesterly, Southeasterly and Northeasterly around the perimeter of said Lot 4 , returning to the West right-of-way line of Cape LaCroix Road; thence Southeasterly and thence in a general Northwesterly direction, by metes, bounds and other description along and with the Northern City limits of Cape Girardeau effective June 3 , 1993 , to the Northern end of the right-of-way of Limbaugh Lane; thence in general directions North, East, Northwesterly and South around the perimeter of that portion of the property owned by the Cape Girardeau Lodge No. 639 Order of Elks being concurrently annexed, to the Northern City limits of the City of Cape Girardeau effective June 7, 1993 ; thence West to a point on the West right-of-way line of U. S. Interstate Highway 55, said point also being the farthest Northwestern and Western limit of the City of Cape Girardeau effective June 7 , 1993 ; thence in a South- Southeasterly direction along and with the West right-of- way line of said U. S. Interstate Highway 55 to a point where the city limits intersect with the centerline of Kingshighway; thence in a Southeasterly direction with said centerline of Kingshighway to its intersection with the centerline of Lexington Avenue; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of Lexington Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Kingsway Drive; thence in a Southeasterly direction with said centerline of Kingsway Drive and its intersection with the centerline of Kurre Lane; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of Kurre Lane to its intersection with the centerline of Rampart Street; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of Rampart Street to its intersection with the centerline of Jasmine Lane; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Jasmine Lane to its intersection with the centerline of Carolina Street; thence in a Southerly direction with said centerline of Carolina Street to its intersection with the centerline of Lisa Drive; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Lisa Drive to the end of its construction as of June 7, 1993 ; thence Eastwardly along the extension of the centerline of Lisa Drive, more or less parallel to the centerline of Melrose Avenue, to the centerline of a platted, but unconstructed, section of Lisa Drive West of Westwood Drive; thence Easterly along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Westwood Drive; thence in a Northeasterly direction with said centerline of Westwood Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Perryville Road; thence in a Southeasterly direction with said centerline of Perryville Road to its intersection with the centerline of Perry Avenue; thence in a Southerly direction with said centerline of Perry Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Dunklin 2. Street; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Dunklin Street to its intersection with the centerline of Missouri Avenue; thence in a Southerly direction with said centerline of Missouri Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Pemiscot Street; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Pemiscot Street to its intersection with the centerline of North West End Boulevard; thence in a Northerly direction with said centerline of North West End Boulevard to its intersection with Dunklin Street; thence in an Easterly direction with said centerline of Dunklin Street to its intersection with the centerline of Henderson Avenue, being the point of beginning of the Ward herein described. ARTICLE 2 . If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. ARTICLE 3 . It is the intention of the governing body and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this Code may be renumbered to accomplish such intention.
