AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE CITY REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
ON THE 30TH DAY OF JUNE 1905.
BE IT ORDAINEL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARE GIRARDEAU,MISS-
OURI,AS FOLLOWS;
AMIOUNT APPROPRIATED AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES.
The sum of Nine Thousand Dollars `$9000.00) is hereby appropri-
ated,as hereinafter spe€:ified,out of the General Revenue Fund of the
City of Cape Girerdeau,hlissouri,as the same shell have been paid into
the city treasury to the credit of said fund,for the current expenses
of said city for the fiscal year,beginning on the lst day of July 1902
qnd ending on the 30th day of :rune 1903. Said amounts to be drawn upon
by motion or resolution of the City Council of said city,or as other-
wise provided 6y ordinance not to exceed the suds or purposes herein
specified.
For Grading Streets and making local repairs and material for
ame,to be borne by the city.............................$750.00
For Improving and Repairing Streets,to be repaid by prop-

For Officers Salaries and Fees,not including officers salaries

SEC.2.- DUTIES OF APPROPRIATION COi4Q1ITTEE AND CITY CLERK.
The duties of the Appropriation Committee and the City Clerk,
in connection with this ordinance,shall be the same as defined in Sec-
tions 2 and 3 of Ordinance No.556 approved August 5th 1895.
SEC.3.- TIME, OF TAKING EFFECT.
This ordinance shall he in force and take effect from and after
its passage.
