cated all that part of Pearl Street from a point 180/feet west
of the west line of Sprigg: Street west through Hend.W s Addition
and,

and known as Hendae's Addition, and no part of said Pearl Street
west of Sprigg Street had been accepted by the City or used
as a kk public thoroughfare, NOW THEREFOR,
BE IT ORDAIII D BY TIM COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF CAPE GIRAP.DEAU,
M SSOURI AS rOL!OWS:
SECTION 1. That all that portion of Pearl Street shown on a
map of the City of Cape Girardeau, Yi ssouri compiled by E. L.
Sailer in 1990 lying west of the west line of Spriggs Street
to a point 180 feet west of said west line of Sprigg Street, be
and the same is hereby relinquished by the City and said street
is vacated and the fee in and to said Pearl Street reverted to
the owners of the lots adjoining that part of Pearl Street here-
by vacated, and all the rights.of the City of Cape Girardeau in
and to said street as above designated are hereby relinquished.
SECTION 2.. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau is hereby
&mpowered and authorised upon application of the ab)gutting proper-
ty owners owning property on said street so vacated to execute
on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau a quit claim deed to such
parts of said street, said owners may be entitled to under Sect-
ion l of this ordinance and Section 83319 Revised Statutes of
E ssouri 1919.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in force and shall take ef-
fect from and after its passage.
