SECTION 1, The public street known as tathen Street, running uast and

and North Street in Filburn's Addition to Out Lot number Three (3) in
the City of .Cape girardeau ldissouri, together -with a public .'alley
running Last and West from Fountain Street to diddle Street and located
One Hundred Thirty Seven and One Half Feet (137) from the North line of
said Alley to the South Eine of '`rashington Avenue, said alley being said
distance South, of the South line of Washington �,venue s and together with
a public alley Sixteen feet (16) in width running forth and South betty en.
Fountain. Street and 11iddle Street and from the South Line of 6ashington
venue to a point One Hundred Forty Seven and One Half Feet (1471)
North of the North line of North Street, are hereby vacated by the
Council save and except a perpetual easement which is hereby reserved
in and to said Street and Alleys for the purpose of constructing such
Public Suers or drains as shall be or become necessary thereon and
the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized and required to execute in
the name of the City proper Quit -Claim deeds conveying to the abutting
property owners the right, title and interest of the City in and to
said street and Alleys ,
SECTION. 2. Said Quit -Claim deeds shall be issued and executed to the
persons firms or corporations owning the land fronting and abutting on
said Street and Alley herein vacated as their several interests may
be and appear.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of ten days after the date of final passage or
adaption thereof. 144
