aECTION 1: That portion of the east and west
alley throu?h Block No. Three (3) of the Monticello
Addition to the City of Cape (Girardeau, running
easte4ardly from Ferry Avenue to the north and south alley
through said Block No. Three (3) between Lots Six (6) and
Seven (7) of said Block Three. (3), shall be and the same
is hereby vacated and closed so that the lands included
in said alley shall revert to the owners of suid Lot Six
(6) and Lot seven (7) abutting thereon.
SECTION e2: The City Council finds that portion
of said alley hereby vacated has never existed except
upon the official plats and is impracticable because of
the topography of the ground, and further finds that the
vacating of said alley as herein provided has been con-
sented to and, requested. by the owners and mortgagees of
all lots and tracts bordering or fronting on said ]:ortion
of said alley.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take f_ffect
and be in force from and after ten days after its passage
and approval.
