AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COMMISSION FOR1KI ORDIENAN CE N O .
566, PASSED AND APPROVED ON TIE 25TH? DAY . OF APRIL,
1929, REZONTLNG A TRACT OF LAND FROM AN rA"O TE -F 11M=Y
DISTRICT TO AN "E" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that tris j
property described below is suitable to the uses authorized in Commercial,
Districts, and,
W11HEREAS, the Council further finds that public notice has been
given of the proposed charges and amendments contained. i n this Ordinance
fifteen (15) days in the Southeast Missourian, a newspaper of general
circulation, published in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and that
a hearing has been held thereon, before the City Planning and Zoning
Coission for its recommendation and report, and the said Commission
filed the same recommending that the property be rezoned to Commercial
purposes, and , NOW THEREFORE,
DE IT ORDAINED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE� CI•i �r OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Commission Form Ordinance No.
566, passed and approved on the 25th day of April, 1929, shall be and
the same is hereby amended to change from "A" One -Family District to
the "E" Commercial District the following described property, to -wit:
It is part Lj of 47 and Lot48 Range E beginning
at a point on. West line of Lot L,17 Range E 62 feet
Soutar_ of Northwest corner of said lot thence runs
South on East line of Pacific Street 72.6 feet more
or less to center of stone wall. Thence east
parallel to 3elleVue Street 150 feet to alley; thence
SHorth along west line to said alley 72.6 feet to a
point 62 feet south of Northeast corner of Lot 47
thence runs parallel with Bellevue 180 feet to point
of beginning.
SECTIO�v 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed, but the provisions of
Commission Form Ordinance No. 566 above referred to, which are not
amended or changed hereby, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ten (10) days after its passage and approval.
