AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF MISSOURI,
UNDER WHICH SAID COMMISSION WILL DESIGNATE, CONSTRUCT AND
MAINTAIN CERTAIN FREEWAY AREAS OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF Cape Girardeau, Missouri , WHICH
CONSTITUTE A PART OF THE T HIG JA S T :
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE (CITY COUNCIL) ($fry OF
ALDEMMN) OF THE CITY OF Cape Girardeau, Missouri AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION to There having been submitted a contract
under which the State Highway Commission of Missouri will
designate, construct, and maintain certain freeway areas of
certain streets lying within the city limits so long as said
streets remain a part of the state highway system, and it
appearing that the execution of said cottract would be to the
interest of the City, the mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said form of
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3e This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon passage and approved. Read three times,
passed and approved on the 15th day of March i9 55.11

adopted by the governing body of said city and that said
ordinance and a record of the Vote thereon are duly
entered of record in my offioe, the said ordinance having
been approved by the officer ppesiding at the meeting
