AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED OF DIXIE CONTRACTORS, INC., A MISSOURI
CORPORATION AND WALTHER H. BARTELS AND EIMJIIE S"ILER BARTELS, HUSBAND AND WIFE FOR A
PART OF TRACT NO. 7 OF A SUBDIVISION FOR THE KLAGES MRS IN OUTLOT 77, U. S. P.
SURVEY NO. 2199, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, FOR THE EXTENSION OF
DOROiiM STREET.
BE IT ORDAI1INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL• OF TITS CITY OF Ci -PE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Quit Claim Deed signed by Dixie Contractors, Inc.,
a Missouri Corporation and Walther H. Bartels and Ermie Seiler Bartels, husband
and wife, dated September 1, 1956, and acknowledged by notary public, which deed
conveys to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, that part of Tract No. 7, of a
subdivision for the Klages Heirs of a part of Outlot 77, in U. S. P. Survey No.
2199, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows: Begin at
the north corner of Tract 7 on the southwest right-of-way line of U. S. Route
No. 61; thence S. 36° 48, E., with said southwest right-of-way line, 20.0 feet;
thence S. 530 121 W., parallel to and 20 feet distant from the northwest line of
Tract 7, 200.0 feet; thence S. 36° 48, E., 130.0 feet; thence S. 530 121 W-1 566.9
feet; thence S. 6° 221 W., 81.3 feet to the south line of Tract 7; thence N. 83° 38t
W., 50.0 feet; thence N. 60 22' E., 106.0 feet; thence N. 53° 12' E•, 538.6 feet;
thence N. 36° 48T 11'
., 100.0 feet to a point in the northwest line of said Tract 7;
thence N. 530 121 E., along said northwest line 250.0 feet to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby approved and accepted by the City of Cape Girardeau, r-iissouri,
as the extension of Dorothy Street, from its present location in Trotter Subdivision
to U. S. Route No. 61, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have said
Quit Claim Deed recorded in the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after the effective date following its passage and approval.
