AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COPiIVISSION FORM ORDINANCE N0. 3289
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 8TH DAY OF MAY, 1925, BY PROVIDING
FOR CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE FROIr'I BIDDERS ON STREET a1 PROVEMEK6
IN TH-.-,' CITY OF CAI GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Commission Form Ordinance No. 328, passed
and approved on the 8th day of Play, 1925, a general ordinance
concerning the improvement of streets, in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, be amended by adding to Section 6 of said
ordinance the following paragraph:
"No bid for any street, sidewalk or alley improvement shall
be considered by the Council unless the bidder has previously
filed with the City Clerk a certificate showing that he has in
force insurance covering Public Liability and Property Damage.
Such insurance shall be in an amount satis-L:actory to the City
Council".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after the effective date following its passage and
approval.
