AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM ADOLPH
FEE AND IVA M. FEE FOR THE EXTENSION OF LANDIS STREET
WHEREAS, Adolph Fee and Iva M. Fee, his wife, have executed Quit
Claim Deed dated November 20, 1964, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, a portion of Lot 3, Block C, St. Vincent's Park, as more fully
described hereafter in this ordinance, and the city desires to accept such Deed
and have the same recorded, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
as follows:
Section 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts a
Quit Claim Deed dated November 20, 1964, executed by Adolph Fee and Iva M.
Fee, his wife, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following
described real estate located in -the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of Lot 3, Block C, St. Vincent's Part, described as follows:
Begin at the southwest corner of Lot 3; thence North 10° W. , along
the west line of Lot 3, 159. 5 feet to the north line of Landis Street;
thence east with the extension of the north line of Landis Street to
the east line of the Adolph Fee tract, as said tract is described in
a deed recorded in Book 160 at page 412, in the land records of
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri; thence south along the east line
of said Adolph Fee tract to the south line of Lot 3, Block C, St.
Vincent's Park; thence west along the south line of said Lot 3, 59. 62
feet to the point of beginning,
and it is ordered that said Deed be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Deeds in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
Section 2. The land conveyed by Deed described in Section 1 hereof,
is hereby named and designated as Landis Street.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after
its passage and approval.
