AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1, OF ORDINANCE
NO. 035, RELATING TO MAINTENANCE OF RAILROAD
PROPERTY BY THE ST. LOUIS AND SAN FRANCISCO.
RAILROAD COMPANY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section I of Ordinance No. 935, passed
January 6, 1911, and all revisions and modifications thereof is here-
by repealed and Section 1 of Ordinance No. .935 is amended as follows:
"Secfbn 1. Grant of Permission - That subject
to the express conditions and terms hereinafter set out to
be kept and performed by the St. Louis & San Francisco
Railroad Company, the said City of Cape Girardeau hereby
extends and renews the rights heretofore enjoyed by said
railroad company in said city to maintain and operate tracks
and depot buildings and communications and signal equipment
in connection therewith and hereby authorizes, gives and grants
permission to said St. Louis & San Francisco Railroad Com-
pany to make the improvements and to relocate, lay, maintain
and operate the tracks hereinafter mentioned on the property
hereinafter described and also to construct, maintain and
operate the passenger depot, building and platforms on the
property hereinafter described and to maintain and operate
an communications and signal equipment in connection there-
-with. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect ten (10)
days after its passage and approval.
