AN -ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF NORTH STREET AND PARK
DRIVE, EXTENDING EAST FROM MAIN STREET, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRAR DEAU, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, There is no public need for North Street or Park Drive
as it extends from the East line of Main Street eastward to the Mississippi
River,,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRAR DEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, All that part of North Street or Park Drive extending
from the east line of Main Street eastward to the Mississippi River is
hereby vacated.
Section. Z. There is hereby retained by the City of Cape Girardeau
any and all easements for sewer or utilities purposes under, through and
across said land described in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,. Missouri, is
hereby authorized and empowered to execute and deliver to the owner of
property fronting and abutting on the land described in Section 1 of this
ordinance, Quit Claim Deeds to the said lands to the extent that said lands
revert by law to said abutting owners.
Section 4m This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days
after its passage and approval.
