COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that all of the property described in Section 1 of this Ordinance
should be rezoned Class "F", Commercial, and
WHEREAS, Public notice of such change in zoning was given as
prescribed by Chapter 25 of the General_ Ordinances of the City of
Cape Girardeau and public hearing was held in conformity with such
notice by the City Council on the 17th day of May, 1965, NOW,
THER EFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chanter 25 of the General Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to chance the boundary
of the oresent Class "F" district so as to include the following des-
cribed iDroperty:
A part of Tract Number One of a Subdivision of Klages Heirs
of Lots 5 and 6, of Allen's Subdivision of Outlots 76 & 77,
U.S.P. Survey 2199 in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
With the exception of a lot 100 x 150 feet in the Northwesterly
corner of this tract. This area fronts 592 feet on Kingsway.
The City Council- hereby finds and declares that the property described
in Section 1 hereof is, at the present time, particularly suitable for
the uses and purposes of Class "F", Commercial District, and that such
chance authorized hereby is reasonable and in reasonable conformity
with the existing uses and values of the immediately surrounding pro-
perty.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its oassaoe and approval.
