AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN ADDITIONAL
EXTENSION OF TIME TO SUPERIOR CONCRE TORS
TO COMPLETE THE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT
PART OF MAIN STREET FROM MILL STREET TO
MASON STREET IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
WHEREAS, By contract dated July 31, 1964, duly authorized
by ordinance, Superior Concretors agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to improve within 90 days from August 10, 1964, according
to the terms of said contract, that part of Main Street from the center of
Mill Street to the center of Mason Street; and
WHEREAS, Extension of time to complete said contract for
good cause was granted to December 9, 1964; and
WHEREAS, Due to weather conditions, it has become necessary
that an additional 30 days extension of time be granted, NOW, THEREFORE,,
BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. The Superior Concretors contractor is hereby
granted a second extension of 30 days to January 8, 1965, within which to
complete its contract with the City for the improvement of Main Street
from the center of Mill Street to the center of Mason Street.
Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
