FORM ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AM -ENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF AN
AREA COVERING A DISTANCE OF 833 FEET EAST
ON HIGHWAY 61, EXTENDING FROM BLOOMFIELD
ROAD ON THE NORTH TO HIGHWAY 74 ON THE
SOUTH TO CLASS "I", LIGHT INDUSTRY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 'D- S'?Lq was passed and approved
by the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri-, rezoning an
area covering a distance of eight hundred thirty-three (833) feet east
an High -way 61, extending from Bloomfield Road on the North to Highway
74 on the South, to Class "Dir, apartment district, and such rezoning
was erroneous in that such rezoning should have been Class "I", light
industry instead of Class I'D" apartment district.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as follows:
SECTION 1- Commission Form Ordinance No. �E,;L 7 of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended by deleting Class
I'D" Apartment at each place in such ordinance where this wording appears
and inserting in lieu thereof:
"Class "I", Light Industry"
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten (10) days after its passage and approval.
