CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO MAX
STOVALL TO COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PART OF
WHITENER STREET FROM KELLER TO SUNSET BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, by contract duly authorized by ordinance Max Stovall agreed
with the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to improve that part of Whitener
Street from Keller to Sunset Boulevard, and to complete said improvement
on or before October 14th, 19669 and
WHEREAS,, due to the inability to work on account of weather conditions.
and other city work, and
WHEREAS, said contractor has requested the City Council to grant him
an additional 30 days within which to complete said improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, as follows -
SECTION le That Max Stovall, contractor for the improvement of
Whitener Street from Keller to Sunset Boulevard, is hereby given a 30 day
extension of time until November 13th, 1966, within which to complete said
improvement with the city.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days
after its passage and approval
