AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU BY CHANG-
ING THE ZONING OF BLOCK 25, MONTICELLO SECOND
ADDITION TO CLASS "B", TWO-FAMILY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that all of the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance should be
rezoned Class "B", Two -Family District, and
WHEREAS, Public notice of such change in zoning was given as
prescribed by Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of the City of Cape
Girardeau and public hearing was held inconformity with such notice by the
City Council on the 2nd day of February, 1966, NOW, THEREFORE,,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, AS FOLLOWS;
Section to Chapter 25 of the General Ordinances of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to change the boundary of the present
Class "B", Two -Family District, so as to include the following described
property:
All of Block 25, Monticello Second Addition to the 'aC ity of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Section & The City Council hereby finds and declares that the property
described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time particularly suitable for
the uses and purposes of Class "B", Two -Family District, and that such
change authorized hereby is reasonable and in reasonable conformity with
the existing uses and value of the immediately surrounding properties..
Section 3., This ordinance. shallbe in full force and effect ten days
after its passage and approval.
