AN ORDINANCE EMPLOYING A CITY MANAGER FOR THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AND SETTING HIS SALARY
WHEREAS,- Paul F. Frederick was employed by the City Council
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, without contract, to be City Manager of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, beginning January 1, 1966, on a day to day
basis, at a salary in the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15, 000. 00)
annually,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, AS FOLLOWS;.
Section 1. The Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri does
hereby employ Paul F. Frederick as City Manager of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, beginning January l,. 1966, without contract, for
an indeterminate time, and hereby sets his salary at Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($15, 000. 00) per year.
Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance shall be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they may
so conflict.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect ten days
after its passage and approval.
Passed and approved this 20 day of January, 1966.
