AN ORDINANCE AC=_ING A BE FOR THE EXTEENISION OF WAINUT STREET AND HICKORY
STREET, FAST OF CCV21ZRCIAL STREW, IN THE CITY OF CAFE GIRLUEAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF.TIS CITY OF CAPE GIRARDE&U, MISSOURI, AS FO:11OKS:
SECTION 1. That a General 114arranty Deed dated 4 December, 1965, from Joseph R. Kuss
and Lillian Kuss, his -wife and Frances T. Kuss, said deed conveying the following described
land in the City of Cape Girardeau, County of Cape Girardeau, and State of Missouri, to
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
Extension of Walnut Street and Hickory Street, east of Commercial Street:
Part of the Rodney 400 Arpen Tract in U. S. P. Survey No. 2199, described as follows:
Begin at a point on the east line of Commercial Street at the intersection with the north
line of Vfalnut Street, extended, said point being also the southwest corner of a tract of
land as same is described in a deed recorded in Book 232 at page 382 in the land records
of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri; thence east along the south line of said tract, and
the said south line extended, 200 feet; thence south parallel to the east line of Com-
mercial Street, 50 feet; thence west parallel to the south line of the aforesaid tract
and its extension, 200 feet to the east line of Commercial Street; thence north along the
east line of Commercial Street 50 feet to the point of beginning, Said land above conveyed
for the purpose of extending 14alnut Street, also,
A tract of land in Outlot No. 86., in U. S. P. Survey No. 2199,, -described as follows:
Begin at a point on the east line of Commercial Street, said point being the southwest
corner of a tract of land as same is described in a deed recorded in Book 173 at page 281,
in the land records of Cape Girardeau.County, Missouri; thence S. 84* 101 E., with the
south line of said tract,, and said lime extended 200 feet; thence S. 2* 07' W., parallel
with Commercial Street, 40 feet; thence N. 84fl 101 W., 200 feet to the east line of Com-
mercial Street; thence N. 20 07' E., with the east line of Commercial Street, 40 feet to
the point of beginning. Said land last above described is conveyed for the purpose of
extending Hickory Street,, is hereby accepted by said Council for street purposes. ,
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have said
deed recorded in the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 3. That the parcels of land above described shall hereafter be named
'dalnut Street and Hickory Street as same are above designated.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from,and
after 10 days following its passage and apprpyal.
