AN CRDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STRIP OF DAND HE MOFORE
CONVEM TO THE CITY OF CAPE GIRAR11FAU, MISSOURI, FOR STRMT PURPOSES,
IN U. S. PRIVXTE SURVEY NO. 3091.
SAS, the Riverside !and and Investment Company has submitted
to the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a plat of Cape
Meadows, which plat has been approved and accepted by the said Council
as a subdivision for said City, and
WHEREAS, a certain strip of land heretofore conveyed to the said
City for street purposes, by said Riverside Land and Investment Company,
now overlpps into a portion of a lot in said subdivision, and is of
no practical use to the public for street purposes, Now Therefore
BE IT ORDAIN D, BY M COUNCIL OF TFD CITY OF CAPE GIRARDF.AU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a part of a strip of land 50 feet in width,
same being the northerly most street heretofore conveyed to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, lying west of Main Street and
south of and adjoining the south line of St. Vincent's Park, as
same is described in a deed recorded in Book 236 at page 621, in
the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, be and the
same is vacated to the extent as same extends into Lot I. Block 1,
Cape Meadows
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after 10 days following its passage and approval.
