AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM ROBERT
C. GUARD AND SHIRLEY A. GUARD, FOR THE EXTENSION OF
SHARON DRIVE
WHEREAS, Roberta Guard and Shirley A. Guard, his wife, have
executed a Quit Claim Deed, dated March 30, 1967, conveying to the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a portion of Lot 12, Block 5, Rodney Vesta,
a subdivision of Outlot No. 79, U. S. Survey No. 2199, Township 31 North,
Range 13 East, as more fully described hereinafter in this Ordinance, and
the City desires to accept such Deed and have same recorded,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, as follows:
SECTION L The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby accepts
a Quit Claim Deed, dated March 30, 1967, executed by Robert C. Guard
and Shirley A. Guard, his wife, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the following described real estate located in the City and County
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Begin at a point on the east line of Lot 12, Block 5,
Rodney Vista, --a subdivision of Outlot No_ 79, U. S.
Survey No. 2199, Township 31 North, Range 13 East,
said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 5 and the
Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 5, Rodney Vista;
thence North 86' West, 230 feet to a point on the North-
east corner of the North end of Sharon Drive, for the
point of beginning; thence North 3', 47' East 80 feet;
thence North 86' West, 50 feet; thence South 3, 47'
West, 80 feet; thence South 86' 50' East to the point
of beginning.
and it is ordered that said Deed be recorded in the office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 2. The land conveyed by deed described in Section 1
hereof is hereby named and designated as an extension of Sharon Drive.
SECTION. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days
after its passage and approval.
