AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF THE
NORTH PART OF LOT 6, BLOCK B, ST� VINCENTS
PARK, TO CLASS. "B" TWO FAMILY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended
that all of the property described in Section 1 of this ordinance should be re-
zoned Class "B" Two -Family District, and
WHEREAS, public notice of such change in zoning was given as
prescribed by Chapter 25 of the general ordinances of the City of Cape
Girardeau, and public hearing was held in conformity with such notice by
the City Council on February lst, 1967,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 25 of the general ordinances of the City of
Cape Girardeau is hereby amended to change the boundary of the present
Class "B" Two -Family District so as to include the following described
property:
All of the North Part of Lot Six (6) in Block "B" of St. Vincent's
Park, a Subdivision of a part of U. S. P. Survey No. 3091, Town-
ship 31 North, Range 14 East, in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning
at the northwest corner of said Lot 6 in Block "B" of St. Vincent's
Park, a Subdivision of part of U. S. P. Survey No. 3091, Township
31 North, Range 14 East, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri;
thence South 57' 47' East along the north line of said Lot 6, a
distance of 402. 7 feet to the northeast corner of same, said
corner being in the center line of Country Club Drive; thence
South 30" 13' West along the center line of said Country Club
Drive, a distance of 142 feet for a corner; thence North 66* 04'
West, a distance of 283. 6 feet for a corner in the west line of
Lot 6; thence North 1' 30' West, 220 feet to the point of beginning,
saving and excepting a strip of land 15 feet in width along the north
side and a strip 20 feet in width along the east sidefor street and
roadway right of sway.
SEC`T'ION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the property
described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time particularly suitable for the

uses and purposes of Class "B" Two -Family District, and that such change
authorized hereby is reasonable and in reasonable conformity with the
existing use and value of the immediately surrounding properties.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage and approval.
