AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF AN ALLEY BETON
MIDDLE STREET AND FOUNTAIN STTM,, FROM THE SOUTH SIM CF THE
EIISTING SOUTH GUTTER ON NORTH STRIMT,, SOUTH, A DISTANCE CF
353 FEET, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARMAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF CAFE GIRA-1WE.&U,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION., 1. That the grade as hereinafter described shall be the
grade for the center of an alley between Middle Street and Fountain
Street, from the south side of the existing south gutter on North
Street, south, a distance of 353 feet., in the City of Cape Girardeau.,
Missouri, and is with reference to Mean Sea Level.
SECTION 2. Begin at the south side of the existing south gutter on
north Street, which point for the purpose of this description shall
be known as Station 0-13., which point is 13 feet north of the south
line of North Street., with an elevation of 417.00; thence south to
an elevation of 418.00 at Station 0+00; thence with an ascending
grade of 11.11 per cent to an elevation of 423-55 at Station 0+50;
thencewitha vertical curve to an elevation of 426.68 at Station 1+30;
thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 420.96 at Station
2+20; thence with a descending grade of 9.43 per cent to an elevation
of 418.12 at Station 2+50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevat-
ion of 414.63 at Station 3+00; thence with a descending grade of 4.57
per cent to an elevation of 412.8 at Station 3+40 at the end of the
existing asphalt pavement north of Bellevue Street.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after 10 days following its passage and approval.
