AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR NO PARKING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY
FRIDAY FOR THE STREETS DESIGNATED IN SCHEDULE 11
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. When markings or signs are placed giving
notice thereof, no person shall stop or park a vehicle between
the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in any restricted parking zone
described in Schedule N.
SECTION 2. The Police Department is hereby authorized
and directed to designate the restricted parking zones in
Schedule N by painted lanes, signs or other appropriate means.
SECTION 3. Schedule N is hereby adopted and incorporated
as a part of this Ordinance by reference.
SECTION 4. It is the intention of the governing body
and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this ordinance
shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of this
Code may be renumbered to accomplish such intention.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after ten (10) days following its passage
and approval.
