CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION .OF TIME
TO SUPERIOR CONCRETORS TO COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT
OF CAPE ROCK DRIVE
WHEREAS, by contract duly authorized by ordinance, Superior
Concretors agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to
improve that part of Cape Rock. Drive from a point 231 feet North
of the Center of U.S. Route 61 Northwardly and Eastwardly a
distance of 5,957 feet to the East side of Perryville Road, and
to complete said improvement by September 1, 1969.
WHEREAS, due to inability to work on account of weather
conditions and other city work, and
WHEREAS, said contractor has requested the City Council
to grant him an additional extension of time until October 1, 1969,
within which to complete said improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLONS:
SECTION 1. That Superior Concretors, contractor for the
improvement of Cape Rock Drive from a point 231 feet North of
the Center of U.S. Route 61 Nor thwardly and Eastwardly a distance
of 5,957 feet to the East side of Perryville Road, is hereby given
an extension of time until October 1, 1969, within which to
complete said improvement with the City.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
