AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF JOINT SEWER DISTRICT NO. 7..E AND
8-H, A SUBDIVISION OF SEWER DISTRICT NO. 7 AND 8: APPROVING THE PLANS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS IN JOINT SEWER DISTRICT NO.
7-E AND 8-H, AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS IN JOINT
SEWER DISTRICT NO. 7-E AND 8-H UNDER A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
PROVISIONS, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIR.ARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the boundaries of Joint Sewer District No. 7-E and 8-H, a
subdivision of Sewer District No. 7 and 8, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
shall be as follows:
All of "Sylvan Acres Fourth Subdivision," in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri.
SECTION 2. That the plans for the construction of a system of sanitary
lateral sewers to serve Joint Sewer District Ido. 7-E and 8-H, a copy of which
are on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby approved and ordered
filed.
SECTION 3. That the owners of said "Sylvan Acres Fourth Subdivision" are
hereby granted permission to construct said system of sanitary lateral sewers in
Joint Sewer District No. 7-E and 8-H, and to connect same to existing sewers in
Sewer District 7 and 8, subject to the following provisions:
1. That proper authority has been secured to proceed from the Missouri Water
Pollution Board,
2. That all permanent easements for said sewers on private property are made
to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, prior to execution of a contract for
the work of construction of said sewers.
3. That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of the City, and State
laws applicable to this project will be observed in all respects.
4. That the quality of the work and materials be inspected by agents of the
Department of Public '6brks of the said City, and the cost of said inspection be
paid to said City fo73:6wing'the'•c6mbletion of the work and its acceptance by
said City and the Missouri Water Pollution Board.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after 10 days following its passage and approval.
