AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM LEONARD W.
LOin7ES AND HELEN J. LOVES FOR PART OF U. S. PRIVATE SURVEY
NO. 2198, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST, CITY AND COUNTY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, FOR STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
TO IMPROVE AND CONSTRUCT STREETS IN WOODLAND HILLS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Leonard W. Lowes and Helen J. Lowes, his
wife, have executed a Quit Claim Deed, conveying to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, part of U.S. Private Survey
No. 2198, Township 31 North, Range 13 East, in Woodland Hills
Subdivision, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
as more fully described hereinafter in this Ordinance, and
the City desires to accept such deed and have the same recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Leonard W. Lowes
and Helen J. Lowes, his wife, dated the 21st day of July,.1971,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following
described real estate located in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri:
All those paved streets in Woodland Hills
Subdivision as shown on plat :signed by
Helen J. Lowes, dated the 18th day of
May, 1970, as approved by the City Council
in City Manager Form Ordinance No. 491,
passed and approved June 17, 1970, being
a part of U.S. Private Survey No. 2198,
Township 31 North, Range 13 East, City
and County of Cape Girardeau, State of
Missouri.
SECTION 2. The Quit Claim Deed hereby conveyed as
described in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of enabling
the City, its agents, servants and assigns to improve and
construct streets in Woodland Hills Subdivision, in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. It is ordered by the Council of the
City of Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the
City Clerk in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cage
Girardeau County, Missouri..
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
