AN ORDINANCE, APPROVING THE FORM OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AND CRITES.AND SAILER CONSTRUCTION CO.
FOR WRECKING ALL BUILDINGS ON LOTS 29 AND 30, RANGE B, CAPE GIRAR-
DEAU, MISSOURI, WITH AUTHORITY FOR THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF A. SUM OF MONEY FOR SAID WORK

WHEREAS, thd City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, proposes' -to
remove buildings from certain City owned real estate and has need
of certain services for said building removal; and,
WHEREAS, Cri-tes and Sailer Construction Co. desires to
provide said services in accordance with their proposal and other
special provisions;- and,.
WHEREAS, the City of Cape .Girardeau and Crites and Sailer
Construction Co. desire to enter into a Contract for the providing
of said services;
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI., AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Contract, attached hereto and made a
part hereof marked "Exhibit A", between the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, and Crites and Sailer Construction Co., is approved in
form.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Contract, for and
on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. Payment of the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars
($10,000.00) is hereby authorized to be made by the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, to Crites and Sailer Construction Co. for said
work in accordance with'the provisions of the said Contract, attached
hereto marked "Exhibit A".
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after ten days after -it"s passage and approval.

To the Honorable Mayor and Councilmen
of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Gentlemen:
In response to the advertisement of your City Clerk, published in the South-
east Pjissourian, calling for bids for the wrecking of all buildings on Lots 29
and 30, Range B, in accordance with the plans and special provisions, the under-
signed proposes to furnish all material, labor and equipment and begin said work
of i=rovement not later than ten (10) days after the date of the contract, and
to complete the work in 45 calendar days, and in accordance with the law and
ordinances pertaining to the vnrk, for the following lump sum price:
1 For wrecking all buildings, removing foundations, disconnection of all
utilities, filling all excavations, and all else required to complete the
wrecking and dressing of the site, all in accordance with the plans and special-
provisions
