AN ORDI14ANCE AUTHORIZING QUIT CLAIMING OF ANY INTEREST OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI IN PART OF LOT NO. 46 OF R.
STURDIVANT'S SUBDIVISION OF OUT LOTS NOS. 58, 59, 81 AND PART
OF 60 IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, WITH
AUTHORITY FOR THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, to correct a possible misinterpretation of
title to certain land, the City of Cape Girardeau desires to
quit claim any interest the City may have in said land to the
Southeast Missouri Hospital Association, a pro forma corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, .BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, does
hereby release, remise, relinquish, surrender and forever quit
claim all its right, title and interest in and to land described
hereinafter, unto Southeast Missouri Hospital Association, a pro
forma corporation, 1701 Lacey, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, its
successors and assigns, said land described as follows:
The South 150 feet of Lot No. 46 of R. Sturdivant's
Subdivision of Out Lots Nos. 58, 59, 81 and part of 60
to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; the zeal
estate hereby conveyed fronting South 2.50 chains or
165 feet on Lacy Street (formerly called West Bellevue
Street) by a depth of 2.27 chains or 150 feet; and
being the South 150 feet of the parcel of land
acquired by Odis L. Seabaugh by Warranty Deed dated
July 22, 1921 and recorded in Book 73 at Page 107.
Except the South 20 feet thereof.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and
deliver a quit claim deed for the described land in Section 1,
unto Southeast Missouri Hospital Association, a pro forma corporation.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
