AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM FRED E. RAWLINS AND
LILLIAN C. RAWLINS, FOR PART OF LOT 6, R. L. WILSON'S SUB-
DIVISION OF OUTLOT 74, U. S. PRIVATE SURVEY NO. 2199, CITY
AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, FOR STORM
DRAINAGE ADJUSTMENT ON BERTLING STREET
WHEREAS, Fred E. Rawlins and Lillian C. Rawlins, have
executed an easement, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri land for storm drainage adjustment on Bertling Street,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as more
fully described '_Hereinafter in this Ordinance, and the City
desires to accept such easement and have the same recorded:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,.MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts an easement executed by Fred E. Rawlins and Lillian C.
Rawlins, conveying to the Citv of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the
following described real estate located in the City and County
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of Lot 6, R. L. Wilson's Subdivision of
Outlot No. 74, in U. S. Private Survey No. 2199,
City and County of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri,
being a strip of land 10 feet wide, the center
line of which is described as follows:
Benin at a point on the North line of Bertling
Street, from which point the center line of Perryville
Road bears South 851 14' West, 417.4 feet; thence
North 40 46' West, 99.8 feet; thence North 860 31'
West, 49.2 feet; thence North 7 30' East, 112.45
feet to the 'South line of Lyndhurst Drive, and
there terminating.
SECTION 2. It is ordered by the Council of the City of
Cape Girardeau that said easement be recorded by the City Clerk
in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
