AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AND GIRARDEAU CONTRACTORS,
INC. FOR THE 1978 STREET OVERLAY PROGRAM, WITH AUTHORITY FOR
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF A SUM
OF MONEY FOR SAID WORK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Thdt.thd Contract, attached hereto and
made a part hereof marked Exhibit "A", between the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Girardeau Contractors, Inc.,
a Missouri Corporation, is approved in form.
SECTION 2... The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is. hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Contract, for and on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri.
SECTION 3. Payment of the sum of Ninety -Seven Thousand
Two Hundred Fifty -Five Dollars ($97,255.00) is hereby authorized
to be made by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Girardeau
Contractors, Inc. for said work in accordance with'thle provisions
of -the said Contract, attached hereto marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 4. Thisordinanceshall be in full force
and effect ten days after.its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS DAY OF OCTOBER, 1978.
