AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF AZALEA DRIVE TO THE NAME
OF JASMINE LANE AND CHANGING THE NAME OF DEBORAH AVENUE TO
THE NAME OF FLAD AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, ,has
passed a Resolution declaring it necessary to change the
name of Azalea Drive to the name of Jasmine 'Lane and to change
the name of Deborah Avenue to the name of Flad Avenue; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution has been published .in a
newspaper in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for one
(1) week; and
WHEREAS, four (4) weeks have expired since said publica-
tion; and
WHEREAS, a majority of the resident property owners
along the said streets and other citizens of the City have
not filed with the City Clerk a written protest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The name of Azalea Drive is hereby changed
to the name of Jasmine Lane.
SECTION 2. The 'name of Deborah Avenue is hereby
changed to the name of Flad Avenue.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
file with the Recorder of Deeds of the County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, a certified copy of this Ordinance and shall have
the Recorder of Deeds enter this Ordinance upon the records
of the County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.

being by me duly sworn, did say that he is. the Mayor of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a municipal corporation
of the State of Missouri, and that the seal affixed to the
foregoing instrument is the seal of said City and that the
said instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said City
by authority of its City Council and acknowledged said instrument
to be the free act and deed of said City.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, S have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my official seal, at my office in Cape Girardeau,.
