AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED AND QUIT CLAIM
DEEDS, FOR PART OF LOT 34, RANGE "B", CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI, AT 19 SOUTH SPRIGG STREET
WHEREAS, Jean Ann Haman Upchurch and Carl Upchurch, her
husband, and Edith Haman Heath, have executed a General Warranty
Deed, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, part of
Lot 34 in Range "B", in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as more fully described hereinafter in this ordinance,
and the City desires to accept such deed and have the same recorded;
and
WHEREAS, Chester Haman, Amy Haman, Ralph Brennecke, Ruth
Brennecke, Ruth Rubel and Otto Rubel, have executed Quit Claim
Deeds conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, their
interest in part of Lot 34 in Range "B", in the City and County
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as more fully described hereinafter
in this ordinance, and the City desires to accept such deeds and
have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed, executed by Jean Ann Haman
Upchurch and Carl Upchurch, her husband and Edith Haman Heath,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following
described real estate located in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri:
All of the South 32 feet off of Lot 34 in Range "B" in
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
Begin at the southeast corner of said Lot 34, Range
"B"; thence North along the west side of Sprigg Street, 32
feet; thence West, 180 feet to the east line of an alley;
thence South along the east line of said alley 32 feet to
the southwest corner of said Lot; thence east 180 feet to
the place of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri hereby
accepts Quit Claim Deeds, executed by Chester Haman, Amy Haman,
Ralph Brennecke, Ruth Brennecke, Ruty Rubel and Otto Rubel,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, their interest
in the real estate described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. It is ordered by the Council of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, that said deeds be recorded by the City
Clerk in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau
County, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
