AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM OF A LEASE BETWEEN.THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI AND THE COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI,
FOR LEASE OF CERTAIN SPACE IN THE NEW CITY HALL FOR COUNTY OFFICES,
:AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
WHEREAS, the City has recently purchased and.remodeled the
old Lorimier School for use as a new City Hall; and
WHEREAS, for the convenience of taxpayers, the City and the
County desire to locate certain County offices in the new City
Hall; and
WHEREAS, the City and County desire to enter into an agreement
for County office space in the new City Hall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY .THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS' FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The "Lease" between the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri and the County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, copy attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A", is approved as to form.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Lease, copy
attached hereto marked Exhibit "A", for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall.be in full force and effect
ten -days -after its passage and approval.
