ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY
DEED FROM STEPHEN E. STROM AND PATRICIA F.
STROM FOR USE AS A STORMWATER RETENTION
BASIN CONDITIONED UPON THE PAYMENT OF MONIES
AS HEREIN DESCRIBED BY STEPHEN E. STROM AND
PATRICIA F. STROM
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Upon the payment by Stephen E. Strom and Patricia
F. Strom of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars & no/100 (500.00) to
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on or before December 31,
1986, the City of Cape Girardeau hereby accepts a General Warranty
Deed executed by Stephen E. Strom and Patricia F. Strom conveying
to the City the following described real estate located in the
City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
All of Lot 138 in Northfield Sixth
Subdivision in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri
SECTION 2. Due to the immediate need for a stormwater
retention basin in this area and in furtherance of the
preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, it is
hereby found and declared that an emergency exists as provided for
in Section 3.15(a) of the City Charter for the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, and that it is appropriate to authorize an
immediate acceptance of the property as herein described by
emergency ordinance as further provided for in Section 6.08(d) of
the City Charter of the City of Cape Girard ea , Missouri.
