ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED
AND QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM DONALD K. BUTLER AND
LEONA BUTLER AND BETTY BUTLER STOCKMAN AND
{ CHARLES STOCKMAN FOR PROPERTY AT 1401 NORTH
SPANISH STREET IN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed executed by Donald K. Butler and
Leona Butler, his wife, and Betty Butler Stockman and Charles
Stockman, her husband, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, real property at 1401_ _No_rth. Spanish_ Street, more
particularly.described as follows, to -wit:
A part of Lot Eight (8) in Block Eleven (11) of the Red
Star Addition, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
described as follows:
Start at the Southwest corner of said Lot 8; thence South
840 0' East, along the South line of Lot 8 and the North
line of a 16 foot alley, 65 feet for the point of
beginning; thence North 21 0' East, 27.0 feet for a
corner; thence South 780 0' East, 41.0 feet; and South
501 0' East, 45.0 feet for a corner in the South line of
Lot 8; thence North 840 0' West, 78.0 feet to the point
of beginning.
Also, that part of Lot One (1) in Block Five (5) of
Robertson and Gale's Subdivision in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
Start at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South
along the West line of North Spanish Street, 53.5 feet
for a corner in the North line of Fifth Street; thence
North 630 30' West, along said North line 77.0 feet for a
corner; thence North 2° 0.' East, 23.0 feet for a corner
in the South line of the 16.0 alley; thence South 840 0'
East, 91.47 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Donald K. Butler and Leona
Butler, his wife, and Betty Butler Stockman and Charles Stockman,
her husband, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
realproperty at 1401 North Spanish Street, more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in Robertson and Gale Addition, Outlot
69, U.S.P.S. 2199, Township 31 North, Range 14 East, more
particularly described as follows: That parcel of ground
shown on Robertson and Gale Addition Plat as an alley,
North of Lot 1, Block 5, Beginning at the Northeast
corner of said Lot 1;. thence North 840 West, 91.47 feet
along the North line of said Lot 1 to a point; thence
North 20 East to the North line of said alley, being also
the North line of said Outlot 69 and the South line of
Lot 8, Block 11, of Red Star Addition; thence South 840
East along said South line of Lot 8, 78 feet to a point
14.47 feet from the intersection of the West right-of-way
line of Spanish Street with said alley line; thence
Southeasterly across said alley to the point of
beginning, and there terminating.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval
