ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO UNION ELECTRIC
COMPANY FOR REAL ESTATE ON SOUTH SPRIGG
STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed
conveying to Union Electric Company real estate on South Sprigg
Street, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 24, Township 30 North, Range 13 East of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commence
at the Northwest corner of said Section 24; thence South 10
53' East along the Section line, 1160.6 feet to the North
right-of-way of the Burlington Northern Railroad; thence
North 630 52' East along said right-of-way, 208.8 feet to
the East right-of-way line of Old U. S. Route 61; thence
North 10 53' West along said right-of-way, 416.82 feet for
a place of beginning; thence continue North 10 53' West,
63.74 feet; thence North 880 11' 29" East, 235.91 feet;
thence South 730 03' 57" West, 244.29 feet to the place of
beginning, in the City of Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau
County, Missouri, containing 0.173 acres.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
