AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM
NORTHFIELD PROPERTIES, INC. FOR STORM DRAINAGE IN
NORTHFIELD SEVENTH SUBDIVISION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Northfield Properties, Inc.,
conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, real estate for
storm drainage, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
An easement on the North 25 feet of the East 25 feet of Lot
154 of Northfield Seventh Subdivision to the City and
County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for the purpose of
construction, maintenance, and repair of an embankment with
its Western end lying within the easement and extending
Easterly, through which the existing creek and surface
water will pass uninterrupted in times of normal water flow
and which will temporarily store and release storm water in
times of storm water flow along and adjoining the creek and
drainage easement forming the East boundary of Northfield
Seventh Subdivision.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
