AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED
FROM TRUMAN R. COLE, JR., TRUSTEE, FOR THE
LEXINGTON AVENUE EXTENSION PROJECT IN THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
ARTICLE 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed executed by Truman R. Cole, Jr.,
duly acting Trustee of the Truman R. Cole, Jr., Declaration of
Living Trust, dated the 25th day of January, 1990, conveying to the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a General Warranty Deed for the
Lexington Avenue Extension Project, more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
All of that part of USP Survey No. 2198, Township 31
North, Range 13 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, described as follows:
From a corner on the West line of USP Survey No. 2198
which is common to Sections 23, 24, 25 & 26, Township 31
North, Range 13 East, measure South 850 14' East, along
and with the South line of Section 24, a distance of
1343.1 feet to a stone for the point of beginning; thence
South 830 54' East, along and with said South line, a
distance of 1364.8 feet to a stone which is the Northwest
corner of Weissinger tract; thence, South 850 321 East,
along and with said South line, a distance of 332.55
feet; thence North 040 08' East, a distance of 158.06
feet; thence, North 870 27' West a distance of 155.01
feet; thence, South 050 31' West a distance of 35.03
feet; thence North 780 16' West a distance of 174.93
feet; thence, North 830 52' West a distance of 201.11
feet; thence North 050 31' East a distance of 33.91 feet;
thence, North 840 29' West a distance of 90.0 feet;
thence, North 340 36' West a distance of 148.43 feet;
thence, South 730 03' West a distance of 62.54 feet;
thence, South 270 03' East a distance of 153.15 feet;
thence, South 880 36' West a distance of 253.89 feet;
thence, North 830 53' West a distance of 592.61 feet;
thence, North 040 57' West a distance of 145.44 feet;
thence, South 420 23' West a distance of 177.03 feet;
thence, North 830 531 West a distance of 24.77 feet, more
or less, to the East line of Woodland Place Subdivision
No. 1; thence, South 050 51' West, along and with said
East line, a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of
beginning and being 5.18 acres, subject to easements and
rights-of-way, together with all improvements thereon and
appurtenances thereto.
ARTICLE 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
